A private, hands-on makeup session designed just for you (or with up to 2 friends).

Whether your skin has changed over time, your routine’s feeling a bit tired, or you’ve simply never had someone really show you how to use what you already have—this is your chance to press reset.

      This lesson is just as lovely with friends. Bring one or two people along and enjoy learning together.

    We’ll use what you have in your makeup bag, filling in the gaps from my professional kit to build a makeup routine that feels doable, and even enjoyable.

Glowing makeup starts with healthy skin. This small-group workshop blends skincare education and introductory makeup skills, all in one place.

  • I’ve collaborated with Anneli—skincare expert and Founder of The Ilu Hub in Wanaka—to bring you a fun and informative workshop taking you from skin prep to radiant glow.

    What’s Included:

    • Expert skincare education + free 30-minute follow-up consult with Anneli

    • Get an introduction to quick and easy ways to highlight three key areas: brows, lashes, and cheekbones.

Before You Book…

  • I currently offer lessons on:

    • Mondays at 10:00am & 12:30pm

    • Tuesdays at 10:00am & 12:30pm

    • Sundays at 12:30pm & 3:30pm

    If these times don’t work for you or your group, just reach out. I’ll work with you to find a time that fits both our schedules.

  • No worries! Email me at hello@themakeupedit.co.nz with your preferred days/times and we’ll see how we can synch our schedules.

  • The Signature Edit is offered in-person at my home in Wanaka or online via Google Meet.

    That said, I can occasionally come to you—just message me and we’ll chat options.

  • Just your makeup bag, your questions, and your freshly cleaned face—I’ll take it from there!

    I also suggest wearing neutral colours (white, tan, cream, taupe — no black please). This will help us assess what makeup tones look best on you.

  • Not a worries at all! If you’re still building your personal makeup collection, you’ll get full access to my professional makeup kit during your lesson. I’ll also give you product suggestions tailored to your skin type, lifestyle, and budget. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refreshing what you have, we’ll make it simple and doable.

  • I want you to know: this is a judgment-free zone. This space is for learning, and all I ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to grow. You will never be patronised, pressured to throw out what you have, or to buy luxury products. I will make recommendations throughout your lesson depending on your makeup goals, but ultimately, my job is to meet you exactly where you are and help you build skills with confidence. No shame, no sales pressure, no silly “should”…

  • Yes! You can book a 1:1 session or bring a friend (or two!) for a personalised small group lesson.

    If you're planning a hen’s party, birthday celebration, or even a wine night with a a larger group, just reach out and I’ll create a customised session that suits your vibe and numbers.

  • Yes! I do offer the option to do a virtual makeup lesson via Google Meet for those who aren’t in Wanaka but still want to explore makeup application on their own terms.

    When you book, please let me know in your message that you prefer an online lesson.
